What is the AARNet Telepresence Service?

AARNet offers several Telepresence service options.

1. The AARNet Cisco Telepresence Exchange is designed to connect Cisco Telepresence systems between connected institutions via the AARNet network and other connected Cisco Telepresence exchanges worldwide.

2. AARNet's National Video Conferencing Service is able to connect Polycom and Huawei Telepresence suites together via its RMX4000 MCU, some additional manual support on layouts may be required. Please contact NVCS today if this is of interest.

3. AARNet has Telepresence rooms that are available for use in Brisbane (Cisco TP only), Sydney (Polycom), Melbourne (Huawei) and Perth (Polycom - located at Curtin University) alongside traditional video room locations.
